The game adds nearly every version of every character from the 2D Mortal Kombat games note with the exception of the MK3 version of Noob Saibot, a shadowy Kano as well as most of the stages. Ultimate Mortal Kombat Trilogy is a ROM Hack of the Sega Genesis port of Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 made by a Russian hacker known as Kabal_MK.
